Day seven: When do you feel best about yourself? Why?

When I run. Running makes me feel fantastic, absolutely amazing. Not that I’m made of light or sunshine or any of those clichés, running makes me feel like I’m made of lungs and bone and muscle and sinew. Running makes me inhabit my body and it feels amazing.

I also feel fantastic when i create. Doesn’t really matter what but when i make something really fucking good, something I feel is amazing, that feels amazing. Drawing, painting, designing, writing, anything. It feels good.

Day six: Something about the way you just are that you like

I love that I’m creative. i love that I’m empathic and kind. I love that I have carved a self like this out of the really shitty circumstances I grew up in. I love my interest in things. I wish I was more interested in things. i love when i love things.

Day five: Something about the way you think that you like

I’m aware, maybe hyper aware at times, of how what i do affects other people.

I like solving puzzles, and I like that I like solving puzzles. In fact, thats it, I like that I like what I like

17 Reasons to Love Your Body now
It is the only one you have.
It feels a whole lot better.
You can’t hate your way into anything but suffering.
There are no guarantees.
Loving your body now doesn’t mean giving up on it. In fact, it means the opposite.
You are worth it.
When you love something, you take care of it.
You are perfect because you have imperfections.
You’ll have more energy to focus on the things that are really important to you.
People are going to judge you no matter what.
Loving it isn’t actually dependent on it’s size and shape.
It is fucking amazing.
A life lived from love is more fulfilling and peaceful.
Why wait to be happy?
Your children deserve better than that.
Did I mention it just plain feels better?
How is hating it working for you?

Day four: A habit you have that you like

Hmmm, I don’t have many constructive habits.

I suppose reading. Choosing to educate myself when its not totally necessary.

I also have this thing, a memory jar, where I write a little note about what happened and put it in the jar. That’s cool.

I like running, if that counts as a habit. God I love running. I only started it like a month or so ago, but its the best thing ever. It’s less of a habit though, more of a craving.

Day three: A part of your personality that you like

I do my best to be kind.

I never ignore someone who starts a conversation with me. I try help people who need help, I just try to be nice. I try to be supportive.

I guess that’s my favourite part of my personality all together, I try.

Day two: A physical feature you like on yourself

I can honestly say I love my boobs.

And I like my shoulders, round my collarbone…

other than that, not very much.

Day one: A facial feature you like on yourself

I guess I like my eyes, when I’m wearing glasses and eyeliner. They’re an awesome colour

and my lips are lovely and full, I feel wonderfully pouty sometimes.

the only problem is that while my big round eyes and big round lips are beautiful, they currently reside in a big round face, Which lessens the impact.

——————————-

Intake for today:

  • Scrambled egg on toast.
  • Tea
  • 1 Potato, cabbage, a fillet of fish, with butter on the potatoes.
  • tea x 3
  • A flapjack

Not great, but I’m trying to keep track of it

I’ve sort of been neglecting this blog recently

that neglect has coincided with me neglecting my weight-loss and fitness journey, and neglecting myself.

So right now I just want to get back on track. I am doing some house-keeping and re-evaluation, and I think I’ll be a lot more active on here in future :)
